Dear Friends, As you may Know, I am embarking on a dance journey very soon to fulfill my dream of presenting my Arangetram (In the Bharatnatyam Practice, and Arangetram is a two and a half hour solo production where the dancer is blessed by his or her teacher to be able to perform in India) I have been looking forward to this mile-stone in my life for a very long time, and I am doing everything in my power to make it a success. Untill now,I have been anticipating the financial support from a website that helps young artists fund their projects. However, unfortunately, the website has rejected my proposal due to a surplus of people making the same request. I feel like I have worked too hard to allow my plans to crumble, simply because I don't have the finances. Therefore, I am reaching out to my friends, family, and well wishers. Any contribution you make, no matter how big or small, can assist me in making my dreams a reality, and help me make a dance future for myself.
Any training that I receive in this endeavor will drive me towards teaching workshops, creating and choreographing dance productions, and performing, preaching and spreading Srila Prabhupada's movement. I strongly believe that the arts are a great magnet to pull people towards Krsna Consciousness, and multicultural appreciation. I have big plans for bringing dance out into the world as my seva, but I can only do it with your help.
